New Beginnings

1/4/2021

As we transition out of 2020 and step into the new year, let us take a moment to reflect and close off the past. 2020 challenged all of us in many ways. The Covid-19 pandemic impacted humanity on a global scale as well as individually caused us to re-evaluate, re-format and reframe our norms.
The start of a new year is an opportunity to reflect on what has transpired and to create intentions for what we would like to invite and manifest for the 2021 journey.
Farewell 2020:
  • Spend time reflecting on the previous year by acknowledging the challenges and obstacles you experienced. Give yourself permission to sit with the feelings that arise without judgement.

  • Remember-stepping out of our comfort zone can be a challenging experience, therefore be honest with yourself and welcome your authentic feelings of what 2020 was truly like for you.
  • Be kind to yourself and give yourself credit for enduring and persevering. Reflect on the lessons learned and on your personal realizations. Write them down. This is you Inner Wisdom. They are a testament of your personal growth and strength.
  • Turn your statements into personal affirmations for 2021.
Hello 2021:
  • Pick a "feel good" song that capture your hopes for the New Year. Choose a song that inspires, motivates, evokes positive memories or emotions. Or maybe it is a song which simply gets you moving and dancing! Let this be your 2021 anthem.
  • Create a 2021 Vision Board. A vision board is a visual representation of goals and aspirations you want to accomplish and manifest for the year.

Create a Physical Vision Board:
  • Cut out inspirational images and words from magazines and glue them to a canvas or card stock paper.
Create a Digital Vision Board:
  • Download inspirational images to your phone/laptop or create a Pinterest Vision board.
***Place your vision board in a place you can see it daily.
